The Himalayan Club
The Himalayan Club, founded in 1928, is one of the earliest mountaineering clubs to have been established in the sub-continent. They enjoy a worldwide membership with its presence in almost all the countries, and many famous mountaineers amongst its members.
I designed the site layout and graphics. The development was handled by Movingstones Technologies. The site is currently maintained by the client.

The Himalayan Journal is the club's annual publication, released continuously since the year they formed. It is the most authentic and authoritative reference on activities in the Himalayas, including expeditions, treks, scientific observations, maps and other resources and articles. The contributors include some of the best writers and climbers active in the range.
We developed a comprehensive system of uploading and viewing the complete digital archives of the Journal, from the very first issue. The current issue can be read online, and all the previous editions can be browsed at leisure.
